CAN-Sirs is a team of active senior softball players who have survived various cancers or are presently dealing with the disease. They are playing senior softball and making themselves available to talk with any player who would like to hear their story or to ask them about cancer, awareness, testing, symptoms, treatments and other early warnings.

Men often have a difficult time talking about their concerns with their spouses and friends. They may find it easier to talk with someone who has had the same concerns and fears and who has experienced the trauma of being diagnosed and treated and has survived the ravages of cancer.
